The rain continued all night and we were not in any hurry to leave the caravan this morning as we were surrounded by water. We finally left around 11am and headed into the nearby town of Biloela. We thought we might visit Queensland Heritage Park but once we arrived we decided it wasn’t worth getting wet to look around. Instead we headed to the Rise Bakery. Rob did say we could have spent the whole day there! We went for a drive around the town, a short walk in the main part street and did some shopping before heading back to the caravan for a late lunch. We spent most of the afternoon in the van with me reading and Rob watching TV. I also had to try clean and dry out some very muddy shoes which I had worn on my walk yesterday. We were pleased to see the rain starting to ease in the late afternoon, so we have our fingers crossed that we might be able to do a few more activities, tomorrow.
