Rob decided that he would play golf at the Narrabri Golf Club this morning. As the morning was cool and a little foggy, we took our time before heading out. While Rob was enjoying his round of golf, I was doing an interesting history walk around Narrabri, particularly the rivers and gardens. I had obtained a pamphlet from the Information Centre and it was a long, interesting and beautiful walk. Once I completed the walk, I bought a coffee before heading out to Lake Narrabri. This is a huge man-made lake which was constructed out of what was originally wetlands. It was a haven for bird-life and the lake is suitable for kayaking, swimming and other water activities. It had an excellent walk/bike track around the lake so I did some more walking! Once Rob had finished his round of golf, we returned to the van for a late lunch. The morning, weather-wise had ended up being delightful but after lunch the temperature started to drop so we decided to have a lazy afternoon in the van with Rob watching the footy and me knitting!
